Richmond Public Health Dental Programs
Child Services, Condition Specific Support, Healthcare Providers, and Public Health
Provided by Vancouver Coastal Health
The following programs are offered:
- Toddler Dental Clinic: A no-cost clinic focused on early identification and prevention of tooth decay for Richmond children from birth to age 5. Services include risk assessment, dental screening, fluoride treatment, counselling and referral. Services are provided by appointment at Richmond Public Health.
- Children's Dental Treatment Clinic: Offers no-cost dental treatment at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry. Children who do not have private dental insurance and cannot afford to go to a private dental office are eligible to get all of their dental needs met once in their lifetime between the ages of 5-12.
