Integrated Child & Youth Team (ICY) - Richmond

Provided by Vancouver Coastal Health

The team provides mental health assessment and treatment at school and in the community for children and youth experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.
Community-based assessment and treatment for children 6-12 years of age and residents of Richmond, who are affected by moderate to severe mental health concerns. This program also helps to coordinate care and services with other community resources. If you are a youth ages 12 to 18, ICY support is available at Foundry Richmond.

Provided by a multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists, family therapists, behavioural management consultants, social workers, occupational therapists, mental health clinicians, a psychometrist, and other therapists and counsellors.

Services can be provided in several languages and interpreters will be provided if required.
Referring problems include:
  • Behavioural issues
  • ADHD
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Early-onset Psychoses and other mental health issues
  • Substance abuse and co-occurring substance abuse/mental health issues are also addressed

Referral Instructions: Appointments with a psychiatrist require a referral from a health professional. Fax referral form to Central Intake. (See form and fax number information below).

Richmond: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Thursday 9:00 AM - 7 PM
