A healthcare facility designed to deliver on-island primary care for attached patients, and urgent care for all those on Bowen Island, whether attached to the clinic or unattached.
Bowen Island Community Health Centre is not an emergency department or walk-in clinic, but they can see unattached patients for urgent issues such as stitches & wound care, sprains & strains, concerning infections, new or increasing unexplained pain, persistent high fever, acute rash or skin condition, and sick children & babies. Please call ahead and speak to a member of the Health Centre team before coming to the clinic for an urgent issue.
Bowen Island Community Health Centre Provides the following services:
Hours of operation are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Closed on all statutory holidays, Easter Monday, and December 26th.
Bowen Island Community Health Centre Provides the following services:
- Primary and rural urgent care
- Vancouver Coastal Health Outreach Services such as immunizations, early years speech & language therapy, and paediatric physiotherapy
- Community Health Coordinators offering personal health navigation for those having difficulty accessing the health services they need
- LifeLabs on site
