The Eating Disorders program is group therapy based; patients must be willing to work in a group setting. Services are free of charge, and treatment options include:
Consultation and education are also available to community agencies and professionals to promote awareness and early intervention. The Vancouver Eating Disorders Program offers community based, outpatient support and treatment to youth and adults with eating disorders. Please see page 6 of our general referral form for more details on our diagnostic criteria for our adult programs.
Eligibility: Adults (19+) living in Vancouver, North Shore, Sunshine Coast and Sea to Sky.
DOES NOT PROVIDE URGENT CARE. NURSES WILL OFFER CONSULTATION AND DIRECTION TO PCP AS APPROPRIATE.
